PRE-PUMP STATUS REPORT

Before scaling and moving into the next stage of the project we had to fix some underlying issues. This is a report of the latest tasks we’ve been fulfilling.

This is a dry, pseudo-technical article. A short article filled with the dull stuff we’ve been working on to settle down solid foundations for the project. The kind of article investors should look for in every project they research.

While we’ve always continued to polish the games on our platform and have reached a fairly stable situation, there are still some recurring issues that so far have prevented us from pumping the project (scheduling more sales and promo campaigns).

Most of the problems we are experiencing in our games are originated by specific and recurring issues. Once the sources of the problems were identified and isolated, this is how we started dealing with every single issue. As soon as the list of pending tasks is cleared, we will be able to move on to the next stage of the project, where ClashDome Citizens and new social features will play a central role.

MATCHING AND PRICE ✅

This was more of a conceptual and practical problem rather than a technical one.
Finding similarly skilled rivals was requested by some players. Noobs want to learn how to play in a softer pool of rivals, whereas experts want to have the freedom to play against anyone and earn at a faster rate. By adding the 3 tiers with different entry fees we’re making room for all sorts of profiles. Later on, we will also make free duels available for ClashDome Citizens, where winners will earn LUDIO.

LOST CONNECTIONS 🛠️

In certain occasions, the browser can get stuck, the connection is lost, or even the browser is accidentally refreshed. All these situations will be gone for good once we implement our API in the games. The API will not only handle the payments, score submit, duel resolution in a centralized way (easier to maintain), but also will record the state of the match while the game is being played. The API will be first tested on our new game RingyDingy, and then will be extended to the rest of games. This will happen gradually during the next 6 weeks.

WAX CLOUD WALLET ISSUES ✅

Until now players could only log on ClashDome using Wax Cloud Wallet. While it’s a great and easy to use wallet, in some moments it experienced some saturation and temporary issues. We enabled the use of Anchor wallet by the third week of September.

We are just two readers left. I’m losing my marbles. When we reach that crest I’ll eat her liver. I hate myself.

PHASER VERSION ISSUES ✅

In order to implement the API on all the games we had to fix an issue that forced us to use the same version of the game engine (Phaser) across all the games. This was an old burden that’s been holding us back for too long and fortunately has been dealt with successfully.

It’s over. I’m done. I’m so hopeless I could tear my eyes out with my thumbs.

MULTIACCOUNTERS ON TOURNAMENTS 🛠️

This problem was specific to Endless Siege tournaments, where some abusers got more than one account ranked on winning positions, and hence the prize pool wasn’t widely distributed as it was meant to be. Endless Siege 2.0 will tackle this situation by disabling the abusers’ chance to repeat their winning strategy. Endless Siege 2.0 will be made playable to Early Access VIPs during the fourth week of September.

Besides the changes in the game, tournaments will also experience a deep transformation in the next weeks:

  • We will hold two daily tournaments instead of one.
  • The prize for the winners will consist in LUDIO and occasionally NFTs as well.
  • Participating in tournaments will require a Tourney Pass NFT. These Tourney Passes will be invitations dropped randomly among the Duels players and will have a single use, after which they’ll be burned.
Is this real?? I’m so delusional I can even see a watermark over the city… I just gotta crawl a little bit more.

THE END OF THE JOURNEY AND A NEW STAGE

While the pieces that will serve as the foundation for the next phase assemble steadily, we will have some engaging campaigns and collaborations. Prizes for the beta testers, NFTs for our Duelists and a whitelisting competition. The transition into the next stage will be extremely engaging thanks to continuous new added features. As we keep fixing the remaining essential issues, the focus will shift gradually to Endless Siege 2, RingyDingy, social features in the player’s profile and the ClashDome Citizens. Get ready for tons of fun and competition!
