LUDIO UTILITIES: TACTICAL BOOSTERS

We keep adding utilities for Ludio, the ClashDome token: in the next weeks we will add NFT upgrading mechanics that make use of Ludio, it will be part of the in-game currency of our upcoming games, and will also be the currency used for some of the most exclusive NFT sales.

As you may already know, the first utilities for Ludio are the Tactical Boosters. This feature is exclusive for the Tournament mode of our games, and as the name suggests, they can give you a small score advantage. Not enough to get to winning positions on their own, but they could make the difference between ending the competition on second place instead of third. The term Tactical states the selective nature of the booster. Not meant to be used indiscriminately but more like a meditated and accurate choice. That’s why in the moment you’re offered to use the Tactical Booster you will be able to check the current leaderboard classification and make a good estimation wether it’s worth or

ENDLESS SIEGE

The elvish sorcerer Lasthiel arrives by the end of your play. The moment you lose your last life, she might help you by clearing all orcs on screen and giving you an extra life. Unfortunately all those orcs she clears won’t give you coins nor points, but in that moment you’ll be in a good position to score a few extra points that hopefully make a difference.

CANDY FIESTA

You may have some few special candies in the board waiting to be popped and then… game over happens. You can find solace in the fact that you can still get 5 extra moves. They normally wouldn’t get you a lot of points, unless you were planning in advance, setting up a fully loaded grid. A last minute combo with a fully expanded board could make the difference!

TEMPLOK

There’s no more room in the board, but clearing some spare blocks could open spaces to place an extra piece. Hopefully that piece could clear a line, or even get you a cross-clear and a powerup… Desperate times call for desperate boosters…
